New: PEPperCHIP® Epstein–Barr Virus Proteome Microarray

01 May 2026

PEPperPRINT has launched a new PEPperCHIP® Epstein–Barr Virus Proteome Microarray, expanding its portfolio of standard peptide microarrays for virology and infectious disease research.

The new microarray enables high-resolution epitope mapping across the complete Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) proteome and supports applications such as:

  • Linear EBV epitope mapping
  • Vaccine research
  • EBV-associated cancer and T-cell immunotherapy research
  • Characterization of anti-EBV antibodies
  • Investigation of immune responses to Epstein–Barr virus infection
  • Biomarker discovery and validation

Covering all 87 unique EBV proteins (NCBI reference sequence: NC_007605.1), the array was designed to support detailed antibody profiling and immune response characterization.

To generate the microarray content, the complete EBV proteome was converted into 21,660 overlapping 15 amino acid peptides with a peptide overlap of 13 amino acids. All peptides were printed in duplicate, resulting in 43,320 peptide spots per microarray.

The PEPperCHIP® Epstein–Barr Virus Proteome Microarray contains a single peptide array and is compatible with the 3/1-well PEPperCHIP® Incubation Tray. Additional HA and polio control peptides are included for assay control and validation.

With the addition of the Epstein–Barr virus proteome, PEPperPRINT continues to expand its library of high-density peptide microarrays for comprehensive immune profiling and infectious disease research.
